DESCRIPTION OF RE4UEST:
I request your permission to make the following alterations to the garage: Page 2
1 . Install 2 additional garage doors (one 8 ft, wide and one 10 ft. wide both
7 ft. tall) on the left side of the existing building .
2. Pour a concrete floor within the left rear portion of the building (approx-
imately 14 x 28).
3. Add employee only restroom including a shower.
4. Raise the 2 front garage doors to 11 ft. 4 in. (currently 10 ft,).
5. Pour a concrete slab ( approximately 13 x 12) in front of the right front
garage door.
6. Increase the number of vehicles awaiting repair that may be parked on the
property from 4 to 6-8.
JUSTIFICATION:
My clientele has grown steadily since opening the garage in July 1995. Each
day I have a full schedule of repair work to complete and many times customers must
wait a week for an appointment. To keep up with my current business demand and so that
the work may be performed in a more efficient manner, I would like to install 2 addit-
ional zaraRe doors and pour a concrete floor in the bay area. I would like to raise
the existing garage doors to allow access of taller vehicles and pour a concrete slab
in front of the right front garage door to make a level surface so that I may perform
state inspections. In order to meet future business demands, I would like to increase
the number of vehicles awaiting repair that may be parked on the property from 4 to
6-8. Lastly, I would like to add an employee only restroom to include a shower for
use in case of contact with caustic substances.
