Dear Mr. &Mrs. Nash:
The Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals heard your variance application, VA-98-24, at
their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 6, 1998. The Board ruled (5:0) to approve
your variance request subject to the following condition: This variance is for the garage proposed
on building permit 98-1331 NNR. Any future additions or structures closer than 75 feet to the
right-of-way will require additional variance.
This variance approval granted relief from Section 10.4 of the Albemarle County Zoning
Ordinance to allow the construction of a garage and workshop to be located 47 feet from
the front property line, a variance of 28 feet.
