VA-98-29 — Tax Map 128A2, Parcel 41
Dear Mr. Agee:
This letter is to inform you that your variance application, VA-98-29, was heard by the
Board of Zoning Appeals on December 1, 1998. The Board ruled (5:0) to approve the
request with the following 2 conditions: 1) This variance is for a maximum of 20 feet
to allow the construction as described in building permit #98-1763AR. Any future
additions closer than 75 feet to the right-of-way will require amendment to this variance,
and 2) The 8 foot deck will have no roof and will not be enclosed.
This variance approval grants relief from Section 10.4 of the Albemarle County Zoning
Ordinance to allow a reduction of the front setback from 75 feet to 55 feet to allow the
enclosure of an existing deck and the addition of a new deck, a variance of 20 feet.
