Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that Mr and Mrs Phillip Buchanan
(owners/applicants), property described as tax map 62, parcel 92, Zoned RA, Rural Areas, Rivanna
Magisterial District, have made application for a rehearing of VA-98-30. The request is as follows:
The applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the side
setback from 25 feet to 8 feet to the addition of an attached 3-car garage to the existing
dwelling. This is a rehearing of an item previously denied by the BZA.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold the public hearing on Tuesday,March 2, 1999, at 2:00 p.m.,
in Meeting Room 241, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville,
Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Building Code and Zoning
Services Office, Second Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
