VA-99-03—Tax Map 56A1, Parcel 01-124
Dear Mr. White:
This letter is to inform you that your variance application, VA-99-03, was heard by the Board of Zoning
Appeals on February 2, 1999. The Board ruled (3:0) to approve your variance request subject to the
following conditions:
1) Planning and Zoning staff review of the site plan to insure that: minimum screening requirements of
Section 32.7.9 shall be met; and, existing landscaping in excess of minimum requirements shall be
substantially restored.
2) A retaining wall will be included on the site plan.
3) All inoperable vehicles shall be removed.
4) There will be no outdoor storage on the site.
The variance allows relief from Section 21.7.2 to allow parking 10 feet from the adjacent R-2 zoning
district, a variance of 10 feet. Also, granted relief from Section 21.7.3 to allow grading, clearing, and the
construction of retaining walls up to the parcel line adjacent to the R-2 district, a variance of 20 feet.
