Dear Ms. Amos:
The Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals heard your variance application, VA-99-15, at
their meeting on Tuesday, July 13, 1999. The Board ruled (5:0) to approve your variance request
subject to the following condition: This variance is for the addition proposed in this file only
(Building Permit 99-1016AR). Any future additions (not exempted by new ordinance language)
will require amendment of this variance.
This variance approval allows relief from Section 10.4 of the Albemarle County Zoning
Ordinance to allow the front setback to be reduced from 75 to 47 feet to allow an addition
to an existing house.
