To whom it may be concern,
I am writing to you in request for a variance for the enclosed property. The survey shows
a family subdivision of Tax map 101 Parcel 6A(Property belonging to my parents,
Delmer and Rebecca Thorne)The variance would entitle the owners of Parcel 6A to have
their current existing drainfield and reserve drainfield on Parcel Lot X. My parents are
willing to give us a 2.00-acre plot(LOT X) so my wife and I can build or purchase a
larger home. Being a family of three we have a greater need for additional space.
The Board permitting this variance would enable us to build thereby alleviates undue
hardship. The denial of said request would cause significant hardship and would more
than likely cause us to relocate.
The land has been perked by Baseline Consultants and has been tentatively surveyed as
noted on the attachment by Robert Lum and Associates of Rivanna Engineering&
Surveying, Inc. This variance would neither cause adjacent property owners any
hardship and inconvenience, nor would the district be affected by said variance. The
property,being a family subdivision, would allow my wife and I,perspective owners of
lot X,to acquire a much-needed larger home.
