Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that the Ivy Creek Methodist Church
(owner), CFW-Intelos (applicant) variance application was deferred on September 7. This item
will now be heard at the regular monthly hearing on Tuesday, October 5, 1999,
at 2:00 p.m., in Meeting Room 241. The property is described as tax map 44, parcel 12H,
zoned Rural Areas, Jack Jouett Magisterial District. The request is as follows:
The applicant requests relief from Section 4.10.3.1 and 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce
setbacks in order to install a 95 foot wooden pole for a telecommunications facility. This is a
side setback reduction from 25 to 2 ft and a rear setback reduction from 35 to 10 ft.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold the public hearing on Tuesday, October 5, 1999, at 2:00
p.m., in Meeting Room 241, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road,
Charlottesville, Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Building Code and Zoning
Services Office, Second Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
