This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that Daniel Hassell and Rachel Horsley
(owners/applicants), have made application for VA-99-24. The property is described as tax map
101, parcel 1, Zoned RA, Rural Areas, Sam Miller Magisterial District. The request is as follows:
The applicants request relief from Section 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the side
setback from 25 to 15 feet to allow a rear addition to align with the side of the existing house.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold the public hearing on Tuesday, October 5, 1999, at 2:00
p.m., in Meeting Room 241, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road,
Charlottesville, Virginia.
