The variance is to allow an existing 10' x 12' storage shed to remain where it was constructed with no permits. This requires reducing the 6-foot side setbacks to 3 feet adjacent to Lot 2 and to 0 feet adjacent to the open space along Watercrest Drive.\glr\. . r l DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: Requesting a change in variance to allow a l Ox 12-storage shed to remain in existing area. JUSTIFICATION SHALL BE BASED ON THESE THREE (3) CRITERIA: 1) That the strict application of this ordinance would produce undue hardship. If the shed has to be moved in accordance to existing ordinance, it will cause the loss of several trees and would put the shed in an open area that would block the adjacent — property owner's view from his windows. This not only causes a hardship to me but to — the neighbor. 2) That such hardship is not shared generally by other properties in the same zoning district and the same vicinity. Being a lot size of.3003 acres and three sides classified as front and with the Forest — Lakes sign easement and with a common ground of twenty feet, I am are seriously — limited in making improvements to the lot. In our vicinity of Forest Lakes we are the - only lot with this classification. 3) That the authorization of such variance will not be of substantial detriment to adjacent property and that the character of the district will not be changed by the granting of the variance. - I have enclosed a letter from the adjacent neighbor stating his view,the application from — Forest Lakes Review Board and pictures to show the positioning of the shed to the — neighbor and neighborhood.
