We just realized if we want to attach the Conceptual Plan, we’d have to print and mail a lot of copies. We aren’t interested in doing that due to high cost. I think bringing it up and sharing our screen during the meeting would be sufficient. I have removed the “Attachment: Conceptual Layout” portion within the attached .DOC. County staff have developed new procedures that continue to provide opportunities for community engagement while promoting public health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Community meetings serve several purposes. They provide the opportunity for 1) the applicant to provide information and answer questions about a proposed project, 2) community members to provide feedback and ask questions about a proposed project, and 3) to incorporate community feedback into staff’s review of the proposed project. Attached are working guidelines for these community meetings, a letter template, and a mailing list. I’ve also included a map of the properties included on the mailing list, as a helpful reference. These letters should be sent no later than Tuesday, August 24, which is two weeks ahead of the community meeting date (September 7). Feel free to reach out if you have follow up questions about the community meeting.
