Please let us know what we need to do on our end with the changes due to COVID. Do we still need to draft a letter? And send out physical mailings? Thank you, Paul On Wed, Aug 4, 2021 at 9:25 AM Mariah Gleason <mgleason@albemarle.org> wrote: Hi Paul and Bettina, As I told Paul during the site visit, the September 7th worked on the County’s side for the community meeting. Is there an hour long period between 5:30pm and 8pm in which you would prefer to hold the meeting? We usually try to keep these meetings to an hour to respect everyone’s time. Please let me know as soon as possible so we can finalize the meeting information/calendar holds and get started on the mailed notices. Just so you are aware, community meetings historically functioned as an applicant-driven meeting, starting with invitations to surrounding neighbors that are mailed by project applicants. That has changed a little bit with COVID and the move to virtual meetings. The County now takes the lead in coordinating dates and setting up the technical aspects of the meeting (aka Zoom). Please see the attached virtual meeting guidelines for more information. They are a great starting point into understanding protocol and expectations.
