Hi Paul,
We found a meeting facilitator for Sept 7th so we will move forward preparing for a community meeting
on that date. I will package and send you everything to you by Wed.
Regarding your other questions, are you available tomorrow before 12 noon or after 3pm for a phone
call?
Thanks,
Mariah

Mariah,
We'd like to go back to having the community meeting on September 7th, at 7pm, if at all possible.
We'd much prefer not to wait until the end of September.
Thank you for the comments. We have reviewed them and have the following thoughts/ questions. It
may be easiest to talk through some of these, if so, let me know your availability tomorrow (Monday,
8/16) or Tuesday (8/17).
1. Could you provide the anticipated timeline from now until we get a decision from the Board of
Supervisors for if we choose to re-submit and if we choose not to re-submit? Timing is very
important to the current owners and I want to make sure we are all on the same page. The
best I understand it is if we submit, we would do that before the 9/7 date, receive comments
by 10/6 and it would then go to the Planning Commission no sooner than 11/2. Any thoughts
on timeline for the Planning Commission and then the Board of Supervisors?
2. Do we have an AgFor meeting date yet? I know the comments indicated it wouldn't be
scheduled until the Community Meeting was set.
3. Based on prior conversations, it seems like the County strongly recommends we re-submit our
application. Is this accurate?
Thank you,
Paul

Hi Paul,
SP202100014 Reclaimed Hope Initiative
Attached is the initial comment letter for the special use permit application referenced above. Please
note, Action is required on your part by next Wednesday, August 18, 2021, concerning whether you
would like to proceed to a Planning Commission public hearing or defer the application. Feel free to
reach out after you are able to review the comment letter.
Concerning the community meeting, the Planning Commission and Board member are both available
for a meeting on Sept 29th at 6pm. I know that is a few weeks beyond the initial community meeting
date planned for Sept 7. That being the case, if you would prefer to hold the meeting on Sept 7th at
7pm, I can look into finding a meeting facilitator again. Let me know what you would like to do.
Thanks,
Mariah Gleason
