RE: SP-90-103 - Orchard Acres
SUB-90-179 - Crozet Crossing
Dear Bill:
As I discussed with you earlier this week, we have been forced to move
up the Planning Commission review for these two items as a result of
overburdened agenda dates in November and December. The new Planning
Commission date for this project will be November 27. As a result it
will be necessary for you to submit the revised plat on or before
November 8. In revising the plat in accordance with Site Review
Committee comments, please be certain to address the Virginia Department
of Transportation's comment that the existing roads adjacent to this
development were not designed to accommodate the additional traffic
generated by the subdivision.
I understand that you have been discussing with the Engineering
Department the technical information which you will need to submit for
the stream crossing request. Please be sure to provide them with
whatever information they need in order to make a recommendation to us
by Monday, November 12. I suggest you contact Wayne Smith as soon as
possible to coordinate your efforts. Please provide our department with
a set of the plans and data which you submit to the Engineering
Department and also copy me on correspondence. In addition, please
provide the latest recorded plat of the property and a letter of
authorization from the owner stating Steve Runkle can serve as the agent
for special use permit application.
If you should have any questions or comments regarding the above 'noted
action, please do not hesitate to contact me.
