Kay, You asked about SP 2000-012 CFW and VA 2000-06 -A request for a special use permit and variance for a
personal wireless service facility (cell site)
CFW lntelos is proposing to install a fort worth pole within a Virginia Power power transmission tower and locate up to
six panel antennas above the existing 120 foot steel tower on TMP 78/15C1. We have determined the request will not
need a variance, but it will need a special permit. The file is now in the Building Code and Zoning Services office. It will
soon be sent to Planning where the SP will be processed. 11111111111111.111.11111111111111111100
the meantime, let me know if you have additional
ques ions.

Bill, please let me know what is happening with the Nathan Metzger property
behind Pantops Shopping Center. The plan was to build an apt. complex.
This was a project Susan Thomas was shepherding when she was there. Metzger
got the special use permit last fall, I believe, and I thought that a site
plan was in the making. If you don't know anything about it I will call his
attorney Steve Blaine.
I would also be interested in the location and nature of the cell facilities
request.
I am an adjacent property owner to much of the Pantops development but would
request that my name be added to any mailing list for any land use
changes/site plan requests from that area. Thanks.
