I am writing this letter to clarify our position as it relates tb exterior identification for the Saab brand at your facility. As you are aware, the Dealer Sales & Service Agreement requires you to erect and maintain a standard Saab product sign in a conspicuous place outside your place of business and such other signs which in the sole judgement of Saab are necessary to properly advertise your business. Saab's exterior identificci ion program has two basic requirements. The first element requires a band or fascia sign. The second element requires a pylon sign near the street. In 1996, you had the proper identification installed at your previous location. Unfortunately, your new facility does not contain a band or fascia sign. Please be aware that the voluntary 2000 National Retail Support Program also contains exterior identification requirements. In order to satisfy the CORE requirements of this Program, thereby entitling you to $625 per new car you retail during 2000, you must have compliant exterior identification installed at your facility on or before 12/31/2000. We want you to resolve these important issues as soon as possible. We are willing to assist you by having a member of our Field Team accompany you to any zoning or variance meetings.
