This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that Chapman Grove Baptist Church
(applicant)has made application for VA-2000-031. The property is described as tax map 62,parcel
67, zoned Rural Areas, Rivanna Magisterial District. The request is as follows:
The applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow a reduction
in the front setback from 75 to 49 feet to allow the construction of a vestibule entry, porch,
stairs and ramp for handicap access to the existing church.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold the public hearing on Thursday,November 2, 2000, at 2:00
p.m., in Meeting Room 241, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road,
Charlottesville, Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Building Code and Zoning
Services Office, Second Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
