Dear Mr. Dracopoli:
This letter is to inform you that the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals
heard your variance request, VA-2002-001 at their public hearing on Tuesday,
February 12, 2002. The Board voted (5:0) to approve the variance request subject
to the following conditions: 1) The frontage of parcel 20C3 on State Farm
Boulevard is limited to the one freestanding sign. 2) The sign is subject to the
approval of the Architectural Review Board.
This approval grants relief from Sections 4.15.13 of the Albemarle County
Zoning Ordinance to reduce the front setback from 5 feet to 0 feet to allow a
sign to be located at the property line with no setback.
