Re: Five foot extension for car port construction
To Whom It May Concern:
Mr. And Mrs. Don Berard have asked us for permission to extend the distance toward our
common property line that their future car port will occupy once completed. It is our
understanding that, normally, new construction cannot come within 15 feet of any property line
in our neighborhood (located in Albemarle County, Virginia). In order to build their car port in a
manner that is practical, however, the Berards would like to extend the furthest point of their car
port to a position that is 10 feet from our common property line. My wife and I have observed
the situation and have agreed that we are not opposed to the Berards extending their car port to
the 10 foot margin from our common property line.
