Dear Mr. Foster:
This letter is to inform you that on January 7, 1997, during the regular meeting of the Albemarle County Board
of Zoning Appeals, the Board unanimously(5:0) approved your request for VA-96-19, subject to the following
condition:
No freestanding sign shall be allowed on this property in conjunction with a wall sign at 30 feet unless
or until the ordinance is amended to allow 30 foot wall signs.
This variance approval allows relief from Section 4.15.12.6 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance. If you
are aggrieved by this decision,you have a right to appeal the notice within thirty days in accordance with
Section 15.1-496-1 of the Virginia State Code, or the decision shall be final and unappealable. Such appeal
shall be taken within thirty days after the decision appealed from by filing with the Circuit Court of Ablemarle
County a notice of appeal specifying the grounds thereof.
