Memorandum
To: Jack Kelsey, PE
County Engineer
From: Frank D. Cox, Jr. PE AICP
Re: Public Improvements Plans
Meadow Creek Residential /Penn Park Lane Access Road
Albemarle County, Virginia
Dear Jack:
This is memo, I am submitting public improvements plans for the section of public
street required to access the proposed Meadow Creek Residential community in the
City of Charlottesville. The improvements project will create two separate parcels and
a right of way dedication on the referenced tract. A preliminary subdivision concept is
included with the submission package.
The proposed County road section incorporates a roundabout (rotary) designed to
serve the planned City subdivision. The owners have previously discussed the
transportation design concept for the roundabout with VDOT. This rotary will be
partially located within the City. The subdivision project is subject to current City site
plan and subdivision review.
It is our intent to file an E&S plan on behalf of the owners upon receipt of preliminary
approvals.
