SDP 1990-00033 THE DAILY PROGRESS SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
Dear Andy:
Attached is a copy of the revised Letter of Revision for the Daily Progress Minor Amendment. Below are
responses to the comments in your letter dated August 27, 2021.
[General Comment] Clearly identify which portion of the subject parcel is proposed to be changed with
this Letter of Revision. It is not clear from the submitted LOR plan where these changes are proposed to
take place in the context of the larger parcel.
✓ Sheet 1 has been added to the LOR. It shows the approved Minor Amendment plan with borders
around the areas to be modified by this LOR.
2. [18-32.7.9] Identify whether any landscaping is proposed to be removed with this project.
✓ No landscaping will be removed for this LOR.
3. [18-4.12.181 Is the proposed loading ramp just the area surrounded by handrails, or is it the entire
rectangular area at the top of the plan? Clearly label the dimensions of the proposed loading ramp.
✓ SHEET 3: Descriptions with dimensions for the ramp and loading dock has been added.
4. [18-4.12.181 Delineate the loading space area. It must not impede parking or driving aisles, and be a
minimum of 12 feet in width, 25 feet in length, and 14 �/2 feet in height.
✓ SHEET 3: a 12'x25' loading space has been added. Dimensions have been added to show the 20'
travelway is not impeded by the loading space.
5. [18-4.12.191 Identify the material of the dumpster pad. It must be concrete.
✓ SHEET 4: The existing dumpster pad has been relocated to the other side of the building. The
relocated dumpster will be located on an existing concrete pad.
6. [18-4.12.191 Identify the length of the concrete pad beyond the front of the dumpster enclosure. It must be
at least 8 feet.
✓ SHEET 4: The dimension of the relocated dumpster pad is 8' by 16'.
7. [18-4.12.19] Provide details on the proposed dumpster pad screening. Be aware this property is located
within an Entrance Corridor.
✓ SHEET 4: The relocated dumpster will be screened from the entrance corridor by the existing
retaining walls.
8. [18-4.12.161 Parking spaces are being removed with this change. Provide the required and provided parking
counts for this property, so that staff can ensure the required number of parking spaces continues to be met
for this property.
✓ SHEET 2: Amended Parking requirements have been added.

Indicate if any of the existing screening trees will be removed or revised for this proposed work. If changes to the
trees will be made, provide details on the proposed work and indicate which portions of the new work will be visible
from Rio Road.
✓ SHEET 3: New Loading Platform will be visible from Rio Road. New screening trees will be
planted as part of this LOR.
✓ SHEET 5: Landscape schedule
