Addition would be a second bedroom, storage, laundry and HVAC space. The existing second bedroom would be converted to a master bath and closet. The proposed addition would need a variance into the existing setback. Justification: 1) The existing dwelling needs central heat and air and additional storage space for my wife and I to retire there. My wife suffers from asthma and the existing wood stove heat aggravates that condition. I lived there for 15 years before I married 2 years ago, and we would like to move back there permanently. 2)The dwelling was built as a cottage in the late fifties and since then additional houses have been built in the adjoining Westover Hills sub-division\These houses are much larger with 3 and 4 bedrooms. With the proposed addition the dwelling would conform more in value to the other house. 3)The adjoining property to the proposed variance V finds nb objection to the proposed addition and will submit a letter stating so if necessary.
