Re: Ramsay Estate Zoning Clearance Application for Homestays
Dear Sir or Madam:
Enclosed on behalf of Tom and Vivian Sargeant are the following documents in support of a
Zoning Clearance for two homestay uses on the Ramsay Estate property, Tax Map 70, parcel 5:
1. Homestay Zoning Clearance Application signed by Tom and Reae Sargeant (Thomas J.
Sargeant is the grantor, and Vivian Reae Porter Sargeant is the Trustee of The Thomas
Jeffrey Sargeant 2011 Irrevocable Trust, title owner of the subject property);
2. Floor plans of (a) the farmhouse (four bedrooms) and (b) the carriage house (one
bedroom);
3. GIS map showing setbacks to neighboring property lines;
4. Vehicle registration and voter registration for Tom Sargeant; and
5. $158 application fee (delivered by hand)
Please note that the designated Responsible Agent, Andrew Thomasson, for these two
homestay uses is a licensed real estate agent (license #0225242927). Therefore, per Va. Code
§ 15.2-983.B(2) (Creation of registry for short-term rental of property), this applicant is not
required to submit a short-term Rental Registry application to enroll on the Registry.
