Below are our responses to the remaining comments on the road plans. A. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan 1. No comments B. Pollution Prevention Plan 1. Acknowledged that the PPP is not required C. Stormwater Management Plan 1. Acknowledged that a formal SWMP plan is not required, thank you! 2. The only disturbance within the stream buffer is for the driveway entrance. Typically, if that is our only option, mitigation is not required for the impact. In addition, we can only provide mitigation within the existing stream buffer area on the property. We only have a small sliver of stream buffer on the site, and it overlaps with the existing critical slopes on the property, and this area is also currently wooded. Based on all these existing conditions, stream buffer mitigation can not be achieved onsite, and therefore the mitigation is not required for the project. D. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan 1. A channel has been added on the downhill side of the driveway, as requested. 2. The channel sizing, details, velocity, depth, width etc has been added/labeled on the plans for the proposed roadside ditches. 3. A note has been added to the plan sheet (note #3) indicating that the plan is for a single family driveway. 4. The maximum slope is shown on the provided profile, but we have added a label for the road indicating the surface and width. This has also been labeled on the plan sheet. 5. The label for the silt fence has been fixed. 6. Both PS and TS symbol were included on the plans, but we have added additional symbols for clarity. 7. Additional TS and PS symbols have been added to the stockpile area. 8. A DD has been added above the driveway to help direct run-off around the driveway during construction, this was a good idea. 9. The temporary seeding schedule was included in the original plans in the bottom left corner. I think this addresses this requirement. 10. The outlet protection riprap information has been added to the plans. 11. There are no current easements on the property. 12. The added roadside ditch on the low side of the road will capture and route the run-off away form the stockpile area. I think this roadside ditch takes care of protecting the stockpile area and area below the stockpile. Also, the stockpile should be spread and seeded within the 12 months, no problem.
