The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use Section has
reviewed the Glenbrook at Foothills Phase III — Road Plan, dated September 13, 2021 as submitted by
Roudabush, Gale & Assoc., Inc. and find the following:
1. CG-12's on plan view do not appear to show the truncated domes Detectible Warning
Surface per Road & Bridge Standards. See note 12 on the CG-12 Detectible Warning
Surface General Notes. Not all CG-12's on plan view match the details and will need
shading of truncated domes shown from the back of curb, per detail.
2. Please show the proposed cross drains on plan view and to structure for drainage.
3. UD-4's may be required for some intersections/areas and should be reviewed after
subgrade has been established. Possible example is the intersection of Hastings Court
onto Meyers Way.
A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the VDOT Charlottesville Residency Land Use Section at (434) 422-9399
for information pertaining to this process.
