RE: ZMA 98-12
Dear Elaine:
I understand the difficulties staff has encountered in reviewing the referenced rezoning
application. As agreed Forest Lakes Associates wishes to amend the request to remove Tract A,
which delineated a portion of Residential Area 23 as a church/daycare tract. To this end, please
find attached a revised application plan
It may be too late to include some comment on this issue in your staff report but I feel it would be
helpful to provide written remarks as to the complications these use presented within the PUD.
Additionally, I would appreciate on official interpretation which confirms that a rezoning is
required to pursue these uses Please recall that both uses are allowed in the PUD resiential areas
by Special Use Permit, under the current zoning.
Finally, be assured that the existing pedestrian trail from English Oaks through Area A to the
Hollymead Dam will be accommodated with designing any road through Area A.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
1—(1A GivlAdt,
