John,
Here is a re-sketch of the drawing for the propane tank. The tank, being 500 gallons or
less (490 to be exact) can be placed no less than 10 feet from any building. The
placement of the tank as indicated on the drawing, is 10 feet from the building. I also
have set the tank 6 feet back from the corner of the building to allow the fencing/screen
to be constructed around the tank and a few collision / protection poles to be set near the
curbing. Again, majority of the propane customers will be filling the 20#barbeque tanks
and anyone else wishing to fill anything larger such as a camper or recreational vehicle
can pull up close to the tank on the existing asphalt parking lot. The propane tank will
have 15 feet of hose that will be more than adequate to service those customers.
I indicated the closest point of the tank to the right of way of Route 710, a distance of
11.5 feet. I'm not sure if half feet are used in variances so I guess using 11 feet would be
better for a variance of 64 feet from St. Route 710.
Call me if you need any more information.
Thanks,
John E. Ekman Jr.
