This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that Kenton and Evelyn Gardner
(owners/applicants) have made application for VA-2002-022. The property is described
as tax map 120, parcel 59B, zoned Rural Areas, Scottsville Magisterial District. The
request is as follows:
The applicants request relief from Section 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce
the front yard setback from 75 to 25 feet, a variance of 50 feet to allow a detached
carport to remain as-built. Tax Map 120, Parcel 596, zoned Rural Areas.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 1, 2002 at
1:00 p.m., in Meeting Room 241, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road,
Charlottesville, Virginia.

Zoning Services Office, Second Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
