Subject: LOR#1— SDP199000033 Daily Progress — Minor; 2 d Submittal
The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Letter of
Revision referenced above once the following comments have been addressed. Code numbers
included below refer to Chapter 18, the Zoning Ordinance, of the Albemarle County Code unless
otherwise specified.
[General Comment] Clearly identify which portion of the subject parcel is proposed to
be changed with this Letter of Revision. It is not clear from the submitted LOR plan
where these changes are proposed to take place in the context of the larger parcel.

2. [18-32.7.91 Identify whether any landscaping is proposed to be removed with this project.

3. [18-4.12.181 Is the proposed loading ramp just the area surrounded by handrails, or is it
the entire rectangular area at the top of the plan? Clearly label the dimensions of the
proposed loading ramp. Comment addressed.
4. [18-4.12.181 Delineate the loading space area. It must not impede parking or driving
aisles, and be a minimum of 12 feet in width, 25 feet in length, and 14 '/z feet in height.

[18-4.12.191 Identify the material of the dumpster pad. It must be concrete. Comment
addressed.
6. [18-4.12.191 Identify the length of the concrete pad beyond the front of the dumpster
enclosure. It must be at least 8 feet. Comment addressed.
7. [18-4.12.191 Provide details on the proposed dumpster pad screening. Be aware this
property is located within an Entrance Corridor. Comment addressed.
8. [18-4.12.161 Parking spaces are being removed with this change. Provide the required
and provided parking counts for this property, so that staff can ensure the required
number of parking spaces continues to be met for this property. Comment addressed.

It is unclear from the documents submitted that the existing trees along Rio Road are to remain.
Revise the site plan to show the location of the existing trees and the proposed trees.
