The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section, has reviewed the above referenced plan as submitted by Shimp Engineering, P.C, dated
05 April 2021, and find the special use permit generally acceptable. Please note; existing
entrance improvements will need to comply with VDOT's Road Design Manual appendix F,
commercial entrance standards and requirements, and will need to be addressed through the site
plan submission.

A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section at (434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
