Dear Mr. Lobban:
This letter is to inform you that your variance application, VA-97-03, was heard during the
special public hearing by the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals on Monday,
June 9, 1997. The Board unanimously (5:0) niled to grant your request for VA-97-03 subject
to the following conditions.
1)A second wall sign limited to 45 square feet or smaller is allowed Or, the existing sign could
be removed and a sign may be placed on each wall facing a street frontage provided the total
combined sign area shall not exceed 127 square feet.
2)No one sign can exceed 100 square feet.
This variance approval allows relief from the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to amend the
conditions of VA-89-72 to allow a second wall sign.
