Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners, that Lamonte & Constance Tupper
(owners), Peter Van der Linde (applicant) have requested a deferral of their application until the
August 3, 2004 meeting. The applicant is hoping to withdraw the variance request pending soil
report from Gooch Engineering.
The property is described as tax map 57B, parcel 32,zoned Rural Areas, Samuel Miller Magisterial
District. The request is as follows:
The applicant requests relief from Section 4.1.6 of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the
reserve septic area from 100% to 75% for the construction of a proposed house. The
property is located in the Glenaire subdivision on the north side of Route 772(West Drive)off
the west side of Tillman Road in Ivy.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,August 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m.,in
Meeting Room 241, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville,
Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Building Code and Zoning
Services Office, Second Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
