Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners of Harlin & Betty Sykes, that the Board of
Zoning Appeals on December 6,2005 deferred Variance Application 2005-006 to January 10,2006,
so additional information can be prepared and acted upon at the next meeting.
The property is described as tax map 103, parcel 63A, zoned Rural Areas. The request is as
follows:
Applicants request relief from Section 10.4 of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the front
setback from Rolling Road (Route 620)from 75 to 65 feet to allow construction of an addition
to a dwelling. The property is located on the east side of Rolling Road, approximately 1/3
mile east of the intersection with Route 627.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday,January 10,2006,at 2:00 p.m.,
in Meeting Room 241, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville,
Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Community Development
Department, Room 227, Second Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
