Hello Mr. Coleman (and Mr. Gaines and Ms. Ragland),
The final plat SUB201700103 has been reviewed by Albemarle County Community Development staff
(Planning Division and Engineering Division), VDOT, and the Health Department. All reviewers have indicated
"no objection" or otherwise provided their respective approvals.
Therefore, you may proceed with obtaining notarized owner's signatures, and submitting the "signature
copies" of this final plat for County approval. This should be a very quick turnaround time, and there is no fee
for approval signatures.
After the signature copies of the final plat are signed/approved, you may then proceed with recording the plat
in the Circuit Court.

• However, please note the following issue: The acreage for revised parcel 3B is shown as "2.00 Ac.
(New Total)" in the "Area Breakdown" chart on Sheet 2, but is shown as "2.015 Ac." in the label within
revised "Par. 3B" shown on Sheet 2. Either acreage is permissible per Zoning Ordinance Sec. 10.4
"Area and bulk regulations" — however, please ensure this discrepancy is addressed and resolved on
the signature copies that will be submitted for County approval.

Dear Mr. Padalino:
The Department of Transportation, Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section, has reviewed the above referenced plat as submitted by Residential Surveying Services,
dated May 21, 2018, and find it to be generally acceptable.
A VDOT Land Use Permit will be required prior to any work within the right-of-way. The
owner/developer must contact the Charlottesville Residency Transportation and Land Use
Section at (434) 422-9399 for information pertaining to this process.
