Subject: SDP202100077— DS Tavern SDP202000062 — Minor Site Plan Amendment
The Planner for the Planning Services Division of the Albemarle County Department Community Development will
recommend approval of the plan referred to above when the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The
following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or
eliminated based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle County
Code.]
Review Comments:
1. 132.5.2 (s)] Please add the application number, SDP202100077, to the project title on Sheet C-01. State that this is minor
site plan amendment to SDP202000062 in the title. Comment addressed.
2. 132.6.2(i) and 4.12.61 Provide additional evidence to confirm the proposed net square footage of office space as shown
in the parking calculations table on Sheet C-04. Please email floor plans or other evidence to confirm the amount of
parking required. Comment addressed.
3. [32.6.20) and 32.7.9.41 Please include the conservation checklist which appears to have been included with
SDP202000062 but was removed on Sheet C-04A. Comment addressed.
4. [General Comment] Please strike through Sheet C-05A and Sheet C-05B on the Cover Sheet's Index of Sheets
indicating they are not being included in this Minor Site Plan Amendment.

1. Remove C-05 ESC elements from the Minor Amendment. Preserve grading elements. (Rev. 1) Addressed.
2. Remove C-05A, C-05B from the Minor Amendment, relocate to WPO Plan. (Rev. 1) Addressed.
3. Submit a WPO plan since area of land disturbance >10,000 SF. (Rev. 1) Addressed. Applicant (letter, Nov.
10, 2021: `A WPO plan was developed and submitted on November 3.'
Note: WPO plan review and approval is required prior to MIA approval.
4. C-03: Recommend show and label stream buffer. (Rev. 1) Addressed.
5. C-04B: Recommend coordinate private septic design with VDH /VDEQ. County does not coordinate review
of, or issue permits for, private septic systems, and has but limited role with central sewerage systems. This is not
a central sewerage system. (Rev. 1) Addressed. Applicant: `Understood. This information is included primarily
for use of General Contractor to keep design material in a standard location. Design is based on work by Old
Dominion Engineering who has coordinated with VDH and the appropriate permitting agencies.'
Note: An approved WPO plan (WPO202100064) is required prior to Minor Amendment approval. Engineering
intends to review WPO plan within the next few days.
