This letter is to notify you that the following development proposal has been submitted to the County for
review:

LOCATION: Vacant property on the east side of Earlysville Road between Millers Cottage Lane
and Stanley Drive.
PROPOSED: Request for preliminary plat approval to create 5lots on 18.3 acres, at a density
of 0.27 dwelling units per acre. Proposed lot sizes range from 2.6 acres to 6.3 acres. The
applicant is requesting a private street.
ZONING: RA Rural Area - agricultural, forestal, and fishery uses; residential density (0.5
unitlacre in development lots)

ENTRANCE CORRIDOR: No
OVERLAY DISTRICT: AIA Airport Impact Area
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN LAND USE/DENSITY: Rural Area — preserve and protect agricultural,
forestal, open space, and natural, historic and scenic resources; residential (0.5 unit/ acre in
development lots)
This development proposal is scheduled for the Site Review Committee meeting on the date listed below.
The applicant's attendance is not mandatory, although it may be requested by the County. Regardless of
whether the applicant will be attending, the County staff will be available for consultation on the Site
Review Committee meeting date at 10:00 a.m., in Room 235 of the County Office Building on McIntire
Road in Charlottesville. This meeting will be an informal session with the Site Review Committee to
discuss issues and share information.
The development proposal will be reviewed and approved, subject to compliance with applicable
ordinances, by the Site Review Committee.

Plans for the proposed development are available for your review in the Department of Community
Development. To assure the file information is ready for your viewing and to allow staff to be available to help
with any questions, we encourage you to schedule a viewing time. Please call 296-5832 ext. 3250 during
business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon -Fri) to schedule an appointment. While an appointment is not required,
we do give priority to those with appointments. Those without appointments may find the materials are in use
by others and/or staff is not available to help. Should you wish to attend the Site Review Committee meeting,
please notify the Department of Community Development so that any concerns may be adequately addressed.
