Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:
This letter is to notify you, as adjoining property owners of Elven Land LLC
(owner/applicant)that at the public hearing on April 10, 2007, the Board of Zoning Appeals
deferred this Variance to Tuesday, May 1, 2007.
The public hearing will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Auditorium, Second Floor, County
Office Building, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
REVISED LEGAL DESCRIPTION
The applicant requests relief from Section 10.4 and Section 4.1.6 of the Zoning
Ordinance to reduce the side setback from 25 to 5 feet on both sides of the property,
a variance of 20 feet, to allow the construction of a house. Also a request to allow a
primary and reserve drainfield adequate for 2 bedrooms instead of 3. The property
is located on the north side of Newtown Road (Route 690) approximately one mile
west of Greenwood. The property is described as tax map 54A, parcel 9, zoned Rural
Areas.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Community
Development Department, First Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
