Based upon the plans with revision date of December 7, 2021 submitted for the above referenced project, we have
determined that the proposal is compatible with the surrounding development and consistent with the Entrance
Corridor Design Guidelines. For these reasons, we have administratively approved your proposal. You may
consider this letter your Certificate of Appropriateness.
This approval is specifically conditioned on the following:
1. The design must be executed as indicated on the final approved plans, attachments, materials,
samples, and other submittal items presented.
2. Mechanical equipment must not be visible from the Entrance Corridor.
3. New storefront glass must match existing storefront glass.
4. Illumination at the ground emitted from the soffit lights must not exceed 20 fc.
5. The drawing labeled 2/E.2 illustrates the design proposed under this application.
6. The wall sign is not included in this approval. A separate sign permit application is required.
Please note the following:
1. Any changes in the approved design will require a new application and additional review.
2. Certificates of Appropriateness are valid for the same period that the corresponding site plan is valid.
If there is no site plan required for the proposed work, the Certificate of Appropriateness is valid for 3
years. Applicants requesting an extension of the period of validity must do so in writing. The letter
must be received by the Director of Planning prior to the expiration date.
