Dear Mr. Diven:
This letter is to inform you that your variance application, VA-97-06, was be heard by the
Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals on Tuesday, June 3, 1997. The Board unanimously
(5:0) approved the request subject to the condition recommended in the staff report as follows:
1. The variance is for the approval of the addition subject to building permit 97-626 AR only.
Any further additions shall require an additional variance
This variance allows relief from Section 10.4 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance to allow
a variance of 20 feet in order to reduce the front setback from 75 feet to 55 feet to allow the
owner to build an addition to the side of an existing dwelling.
