at the subject site. The purpose of our involvement on the project was to conduct the subsurface
exploration program consisting of three (3) asphalt samples, stone density testing and (thicknesses, and
soil CBR testing, designated Hole #1-3, which were performed on June 22, 2020.
Representative soil samples obtained from each test location were taken to the laboratory where the soil
samples were tested per the CBR standard procedure (ASTM D1883). The stone subbase was evaluated
in -place utilizing a nuclear density gauge (ASTM D6938) with stone thickness verified by hand.
Additionally, the asphalt samples retrieved from the field were returned to the laboratory for specific
gravity testing (ASTM D2726). See the attached table and lab results for the results of our limited
subsurface exploration.
