HomeMy WebLinkAboutSP200800032 Legacy Document 2008-09-30 (4)DUST: This may occur during the hot, dry periods of the summer due to the activity on the gravel surfacing. The Applicant is prepared during such times (as needed) to use a water truck to reduce this occurrence. By doing so, it not only reduces this potential impact to the neighbors (which won't be the case due to the distance) and their equipment. Keeping the dust under control will help reduce periodic maintenance and changing to the equipment's air filters. HAZARDOUS/CHEMICAL STORAGE: There will be no hazardous materials, other than fuel, used or stored on the property. All fuel will be kept outside in aboveground storage tanks in pre -manufactured fuel containment systems. All chemicals used will be bio -degradable detergents for the use of washing, or in the equipment. Any chemicals stored within the shop will be secured in a stockroom. TRASH COLLECTION: It is not anticipated that large containers of trash will be needed on-site. It is presumed for now, that residential toters will be sufficient to handle the office everyday waste. Trash collection services will be contracted with a local company for weekly pickup. Central Virginia Recycling SP -2008-00032 Certified Engineer's Report 12
