RE: Landscaping Double Frontage Lots
Dear Fred,
I will summarize our telephone conversations of September 16 ,
1993 and September 24, 1993 .
In your September 15, 1993 letter, you indicated that no
landscaping plan was previously required in Redfields. We
discussed a landscape plan signed by Richard E. Tarbell on March
25, 1991 to address double frontage lots in Phase lA of
Redfields. This item overcame problems of double frontage lots
and was required by the Planning Commission [condition l( f) of
Redfields Preliminary Plat] .
I have researched this item further. The rezoning plan notes "15
foot landscape buffer easement to be provided on all double
frontage lots" . Based on that note, this department will require
a landscape plan. Be sure that the specie( s ) and the number of
screening plants are noted. Refer to Section 32 .7 of the Zoning
Ordinance for clarification of screening. Be sure to note these
trees must be planted at time of plat signature. Should the
developer wish, he may request they be bonded prior to plat
signature.
