The following is our written response to comments received from the ARB meeting on December 6th, 2021. Each comment is addressed and responded as follows: ARB Comments Responses: 1) Provide a sample of the corrugated metal siding for review. • Response: Sample of corrugated metal siding and color card provided as requested. See attached sample. 2) Revise the architectural drawing to indicate the proposed block size for the masonry. • Response: Masonry block size provided as requested. See attached updated color elevation (Finish Legend Section — Note H & 1). 3) Align the storefront heights on the EC elevation with those on the south side and add a canopy to the middle bay of the EC elevation. • Response: Storefront heights on the EC elevation revised as requested; the canopy added as requested. ARCHITECTURAL RESOURCE TEAM design with purpose 4) Revise the plant trellises to extend down the elevation to the to match the form of the bay doors along the south elevation. Remove the trellis closest to the EC street. • Response: The plant trellises revised as requested, and the trellis overlapped with the electrical switch cabinet removed as requested. See attached updated color elevations (North Elevation). 5) Revise the architectural drawings to include the standard window glass note: Visible light transmittance (VLT) shall not drop below 40%. Visible light reflectance (VLR) shall not exceed 30%. • Response: The standard window glass notes added as requested. See attached updated color elevation (Finish Legend Section — Note G). 6) Consider revising the site plan to relocate the electrical switch cabinet to eliminate visibility from the EC. Alternatively add a wing wall and paint the cabinet to match the building. Add a note to the site plan to identify the cabinet. • Response: The wing wall added as requested, color to match Grand Blanc architectural masonry "S.E.D. Blend". See attached updated color elevation (North Elevation). 7) Revise the elevation drawings to show the roof -mounted mechanical equipment to confirm that it will be screened from view of the EC. • Response: Roof -mounted mechanical equipment drawings provided as requested to show that it's screened from view of the EC. The height of the roof -mounted mechanical equipment will not exceed 26', and will be screened from the EC. See attached updated color elevation. 8) Add the standard mechanical equipment note to the architectural drawing: "Visibility of all mechanical equipment from the Entrance Corridor shall be eliminated." • Response: The standard mechanical equipment note added as requested. See attached updated color elevation (Finish Legend Section — Note 0).
