The following revisions are requested to make the proposal consistent with the design criteria that apply to the County -wide Certificate. 1. Adjust the drawings to make canopy color information consistent on sheets G-1 and A-3. 2. Reduce the visual impact of the fans and heaters by matching their color to the color of the canopy ceilings. 3. Revise the lighting plan using an LLF of 1.0. 4. Provide on the plan the cut sheets for the pole fixtures. 5. Revise the lighting plan to make clear which options have been chosen for all new fixtures. 6. Revise the lighting plan to indicate a warm white color temperature (3000K) for the lamps for the new fixtures. 7. Revise the lighting plan to indicate the finish for the pole fixtures. Black is recommended. 8. Add the standard lighting note to the plan: "Each outdoor luminaire equipped with a lamp that emits 3,000 or more initial lumens shall be a full cutoff luminaire and shall be arranged or shielded to reflect light away from adjoining residential districts and away from adjacent roads. The spillover of lighting from luminaires onto public roads and property in residential or rural areas zoning districts shall not exceed one half footcandle." 9. Revise the plan to identify the trees and shrubs to be removed and to more clearly show that all other landscaping from the approved site plan is to remain. (The note reading, "Existing landscaping to remain" is confusing because only a portion of the approved landscaping is shown.) Provide an updated plant schedule. 10. Add the standard plant health note to the plan: "All site plantings of trees and shrubs shall be allowed to reach, and be maintained at, mature height; the topping of trees is prohibited. Shrubs and trees shall be pruned minimally and only to support the overall health of the plant" Within 15 days of the date of this letter, please send me an email indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions. If you choose not to proceed with these revisions, staff will be unable to approve your application. If you choose to proceed with the revisions, please forward me one set of revised drawings together with a memo summarizing the revisions you've made. Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60-day review period associated with your original submittal. However, my goal will be to complete the review of your revised proposal within 2 weeks of your re - submittal. If you have any questions about this action, please contact me as soon as possible.
