Hello,
I'll just be making paintings in my house. I have a spare 14'xIT room that I use for painting (primarily, oil paintings of landscapes currently).
Historically, I've always just painted for the enjoyment of it at my house, but enough friends asked me if I would consider doing
commissions that I decided 1 wanted to create a business to be able to try to do that. There won't be sales/customers coming to my house.
My plan is to sell my art through art galleries and to do commissions for people that come through references or through showing artwork
online. If a friend or family member commissioned an art piece, I might allow them to pick it up from me at my house, but those are people
who would visit me for social reasons anyway. Otherwise, I would ship the artwork, deliver the art to a 3rd party location, or make them
buy through a gallery.
Thanks,
Lea Doise
