As you are aware, the County of Albemarle is requiring your company to get a letter of
approval from Dominion Energy Virginia giving your company permission to encroach
within one of Dominion's easements with a monument sign. This sign will be for the
Albemarle Countertop Company at 2813 Hydraulic Road in Charlottesville, Virginia. The
letter of approval is required before Albemarle County will approve your company's sign
application. The sign will encroach 2' into the easement area.
The easement in question was granted to the Virginia Electric and Power Company by a
document dated July 26, 1994 from the Hydraulic Road Partnership. The easement is
recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Albemarle County in Deed Book
1482, Page 571. The easement has both overhead and underground rights, but presently
the only facilities within the easement are overhead. Since the underground rights are not
being utilized at this time, and the sign is rather small and low, Dominion is willing to let
the sign be installed within this easement. This letter does not imply that Dominion is
giving up any of its rights and all of Dominion's rights will remain in force as before.
Dominion asks that you and your contractors work safely around all power lines and that
you and your contractors abide by the Virginia Overhead High Voltage Safety Act.

Ms. Root,
I have received and reviewed the plans for the installation of the monument sign at
2813 Hydraulic Road, Charlottesville, Virginia 22903 (06100-00-00-005A1). The sign
has been designed in order to provide necessary separations between the gas line and
the sign foundation. The City of Charlottesville Department of Utilities is comfortable
with the sign being installed per the plans.

I have received and reviewed the plans for the installation of a monument sign at 2813 Hydraulic Road
in Charlottesville, VA Parcel (06100-00-00-005A1). The proposed sign has been designed in order to
provide necessary separations between Lumen (dba Centuryl-ink) aerial lines and the sign foundation.
Lumen has no issues with the installation of the sign as designated on the plans provided to me.

and RWSA have no utilities on this parcel.
This document must be submitted at the time of Building Permit application to the County of Albemarle. Any revisions to the scope
of work approved under this ACSA Building Permit Pre -Application requires a revision submittal to the ACSA for re -approval, prior to
a Building Permit revision application to the County of Albemarle. This Pre -Application becomes null and void if application for a
Building Permit is not commenced within 6 months of the approval date.
