Sincerely, Huff Chiles From: Huff Chiles Sent: Sunday, December 05, 2021 3:03 PM To: cshaffer2@albemarle.org Subject: SL Williamson Red Hill Plant Carolyn Schaffer, I am writing to you in support of SL Williamson updating their equipment at the Red Hill plant. Crown Orchard owns and operates a 340 acre farm/orchard directly across Red Hill road from the SL Williamson plant. We have farmed this land for decades and have always had positive experiences with the folks at SL Williamson. Their plan to update their equipment to be more efficient is a wonderful idea and the community is behind it. For all of us that live and travel in Albemarle and the surrounding Counties, we have SL Williamson to thank for the smooth, safe roads they helped create. You don't have to travel far, and especially north toward northern Virginia to feel the difference in the quality of the roads. The need for the production of efficient, quality asphalt is a must for us to maintain our beautiful roadways. Feel free to contact me at anytime if you have any questions. We are in support of this.
