To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to notify you as adjoining property owners to property owned by Grand
Property of Virginia LC that a special use application has been submitted. The
request is as follows:
Request variance to reduce required front setback for a freestanding sign (Chapter 18,
Section 4.15.11) from 5 feet to 6 inches in order to locate a new freestanding sign on the
property at 1801 Seminole Trail. Tax Map 45, Parcel 104A1, Zoned C-1 Commercial,
Entrance Corridor Overlay District and Airport Impact Area.
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at
2:00 p.m., in Lane Auditorium, Second Floor, County Office Building, 401 McIntire
Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
This application is available for your review in the Albemarle County Community
Development Department, First Floor, 401 McIntire Road, Charlottesville, Virginia.
