GENERAL BUILDING DEPARTMENT NOTES:
i. WHERE THE FLOOD LEVEL RIMS OF PLUMBING FIXTURES ARE BELOW THE ELEVATION OF
THE MANHOLE COVER OF THE NEXT UPSTREAM MANHOLE IN THE PUBLIC SEWER, THE
FIXTURES SHALL BE PROTECTED BY A BACKWATER VALVE INSTALLED IN THE BUILDING

REQUIREMENTS:
1. THE TRENCH CONTAINING THE DOUBLE RUN OF 48" CMP STORM PIPE SHALL
HAVE A 168" WIDE TRENCH. THE TRENCHES CONTAINING THE 12" BYPASS
HDPE PIPE AND THE 15" OUTFALL PIPE SHALL HAVE 36" WIDE TRENCHES.
CONTRACTOR SHALL WRAP THE EXCAVATED TRENCHES WITH A 6 OUNCE
FILTER FABRIC CLOTH. A SUITABLE FOUNDATION SHALL BE BENEATH THE
TRENCHES' FILTER FABRIC CLOTHS.
2. TRENCHES TO INCLUDE A 6" #57 STONE BED AT 95% COMPACTION BENEATH
THE HP STORM PIPES.
3. TRENCHES SHALL BE BACKFILLED WITH #57 STONE AT 95% COMPACTION
AND SHALL EXTEND A MINIMUM OF 6" VERTICALLY ABOVE THE CROWN OF
